“Jesus Lays Down the Law:  Love, Forgive, Give”

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”  

• Love your enemies
• Forgive, and you will be forgiven.  
• Give to everyone who begs from you.

All these are COMMANDS of Christ.  Jesus is laying down the Law for us as His disciples to follow.  Whether you are young or old, man or woman, boy or girl, Jesus wants you to be a hero in the history of the church.  Following Jesus, deny yourself and take up your cross, whatever that cross may be in your life.  Rely on the Grace of God and trust in the Lord.  Have the courage to Love others in His Name; for He first Loved you.  Forgive others in His Name, and you will be forgiven.  Give generously of your strength to the weak, the wronged, the imperiled; take suffering and sacrifice upon yourself.

Why?  Because God commands it for your benefit!
