Basic Program Information

It is our belief that a preschool experience based on God’s love, grace and forgiveness will provide a child with a lasting spiritual foundation, develop self-esteem and an appreciation and respect for themselves and others. The child who has the opportunity to know God will grow and prosper, become a good citizen, maintain a Christian life and enrich the lives of others.

Our curriculum includes many socialization opportunities; familiarization with Bible stories and music; the development of gross and fine motor skills; the study of colors, numbers, shapes, letters and letter sounds. Furthermore, our curriculum includes supervised games, educational field trips, chapel and the foundational sharing of Jesus’ love every day.

Our curriculum and program are designed to prepare your child, very specifically, for their eventual participation in a full-day kindergarten experience. Care and attention are applied to your child’s developmental needs, and we firmly believe they will benefit from what we have to offer. Our program uses the One in Christ curriculum.

Before completing the Online Registration and Medical Information forms, please be aware of our fees.

Preschool Class

For many children, preschool is their first experience stepping out on their own. We understand this experience can be emotional for both child and parent. One of our main goals is to make this separation a positive experience. We focus on socialization – sharing, verbalizing wants and needs, and making new friends through play and hands-on interaction. We also introduce early learning academics – letter recognition, letter sounds, numbers, counting, shapes, and colors. Preschoolers will also have weekly bible stories and crafts, an introductory music class once per week, as well as Chapel with our Pastor and/or Director of Christian Education once per month.

Our extended day program is also a wonderful addition to the preschool learning experience!  Designed to give your child extra time in our nurturing learning environments, extended day is a wonderful way to give your child additional hours to explore, learn, and grow in a group setting designed to further foster your child's natural curiosity, social-emotional growth, and love of learning!  Children will have lunch, a short rest time, as well as additional outdoor play and lessons that reinforce the daily curriculum.  Our extended day option is a great way to foster an early love of school and allow young learners more time to explore while still maintaining the fun and freedom of the preschool classroom!

We have special holiday celebrations that include:  Thanksgiving Day feast, Birthday party for Jesus, Donuts with Dad, Valentine's Day, Easter celebration, Muffins with Mom, and an End of the Year Picnic. Our preschoolers also enjoy a fall and spring field trip every school year.

The maximum class size for our preschool classroom is 12 students.  We have one teacher and one teacher’s aide for each class, based on the needs of the classroom.

Kindergarten Prep Class

Our primary goal for our Kindergarten Prep class is to prepare students for the full-day rigor and expectations of kindergarten, taking the preschool experience one step further.  There are several field trips and special activities designed to give our students hands-on learning experiences to spark their natural curiosity and help them learn to use their 5 senses to explore and learn about the world around us.  We also expand on foundational academics - letter recognition, letter sounds, pre/early reading, number recognition, counting, patterns, and shapes.  This classroom also offers student evaluations in the fall and spring to track academic and social-emotional growth, as well as small group learning.  Here, we learn how to accommodate the needs of each child, as we recognize that all children develop and grow at a unique pace!

Our extended day option is a great addition to our Kindergarten Prep class.  Our extended day program is designed to give your child extra time in our nurturing learning environment.  Here your child will have additional hours to explore, learn, and grow in a group setting designed to further foster your child's natural curiosity, social-emotional growth, and love of learning!  Children will have lunch, a short rest time, as well as additional outdoor play and lessons that reinforce the daily curriculum.  Our extended day option is a great way to prepare early learners for the full-day school experience while still maintaining the fun and freedom of the preschool classroom!

Our Kindergarten Prep class enjoys additional experiences including bi-monthly Chapel services in the Sanctuary with the Pastor and/or our Director of Christian Education; weekly music class with Mrs. Lea; a fall and spring field trip; and a Graduation Ceremony and Reception.  In addition, they celebrate some special Holidays which include, a Thanksgiving Day Feast, Birthday party for Jesus, Donuts with Dad, Valentine's Day, Easter celebration, Muffins with Mom, and an End of the Year Picnic.

The maximum class size for our kindergarten prep class is 14 students.   We have one teacher and one teacher's aide for each class, based on the needs of the classroom.
